ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Kathryn Austin and I am a journalism graduate and content creator.

A few months ago, I completed my MA in Publishing at Manchester Metropolitan University and am delighted to have obtained my first publishing role, working as editor and designer on a new children's book series.

 

I was lucky enough to study BJTC-accredited Multimedia Journalism at the University of Salford, Media City, undertaking many interesting modules such as Law & Ethics, Magazine Journalism and Reporting Government.

Alongside my studies, I took exams with the NCTJ, having secured Grade B in their Court Reporting and Public Affairs examinations.

​

I am fascinated by the world around me and have a keen interest in politics, history, books, celebrity culture, television and film. I love to tell people's stories, and have already had the honour of interviewing a wide range of extraordinary people for my articles and blog.
